Outsiders continue their winning start to EPL S17

After defeating fnatic 2-0, Outsiders are still off to a winning start in the EPL S17. In a repeat of their IEM Katowice 2023 encounter, the Outsiders triumphed against the European union. They chose Inferno instead of Overpass this time, and their selection paid off with a 16-14 victory. The upper bracket final, contested on Sunday at 20:30, will now include outsiders. They will play the contest winner between Cloud9 and G2, with the victor moving on to the quarterfinals immediately.  

With the defeat, fnatic are now in the bottom bracket and will next compete against Eternal Fire. Dzhami "Jame" Ali set off the inferno. Ali's triple-kill earned his side a pistol round, and the Russian team capitalized on their captain's highlight. Before Outsiders took control and sprinted to an 11-4 half, fnatic enjoyed some success in the midst of the first half and advanced as far as four rounds.
