Invictus player Peng "xiaosaGe" Song announced his retirement from Counter-Strike and professional play citing the reason as age and physical reasons and the 31-year-old is not keen on returning to the game even with a different role. xiaosaGe thus closes on a chapter of this life after his last appearance in January 2021 where he played at the Hot Pot Masters Championship, a LAN event that was organized in China, Invictus won the $26,000 tournament and beat TYLOO 2-1 for the title in the grand finale.
His time in the sports was restricted to Chinese and Asian tournaments until 2017 when he got to compete internationally for the first time with 5POWER at ROG Masters Grand Finals. He spent a considerable amount of time with R-Stars as well before shifting to Invictus in 2020 and helped the team finish second in PAL Summer and fourth in PAL Fall.
