Renewal saved its spot at IEM Fall

The Mongolian team won the $30,000 event and qualified for an international tournament. DreamHack Open June, which took place from June 30 to July 3 and featured four teams, completed on Saturday. Renewal rose to the occasion in the absence of Chinese powerhouse squads TYLOO and ViCi, taking the $16,000 first-place prize as well as a seat at IEM Fall.

A 2-0 victory over Vadim "V4D1M" in the first encounter. Panchuk's Lynn Vision identified Gan-Erdene as "dobu." Batbold and his teammates advanced to the upper bracket final, where they defeated Checkmate 2-0. Renewal matched that performance in the rematch of the grand final (3-0), earning the title without losing a single map. Renewal, rated 110th in the world, will be trying to make the most of their foreign journey for IEM Fall in late September.
