ESL Challenger Rotterdam is going to be held on October 14-16 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, donning a whopping $100,000 prize pool, along with a spot at ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference for the victor. The tournament will put eight teams in the spotlight, out of which four will be invited directly and the other four will join from regional closed qualifiers, with each allocating one spot at the event. Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek's Nixuh is the only officially invited team at the event so far, having won the South African qualifier.
The European closed qualifier will comprise of four teams joining from two different open qualifiers and the four invitees, which are Entropiq, Eternal Fire, forZe and Sprout. The event will move ahead in a double-elimination best-of-three format on September 16-18.
