Brazil and The World will face off in the Jeunesse Arena on Counter-Strike 2, a new shooter from Valve that will have a complete release later in the summer, according to the IEM Rio showmatch rosters. The IEM Rio grand final, resulted in Vitality winning the best-of-three battle. The victor received $100,000 in cash, a trip to IEM Cologne, and the top slot in the next Intel Grand Slam Season 5.
Some of Counter-Strike's most illustrious players are on the rosters for the two teams, including Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Epitacio "TACO" de Melo, who have won two Major championships together and previously competed together as Team Brazil at the IEM Rio Major showmatch in November. Along with Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo and Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato, Felipe "insani" Yuji and Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo are other members of Brazil. The Natus Vincere contingent of The World is made up of Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi, while Nils "k1to" Gruhne, and Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov complete the roster.
