Nikita Derkeps- one of the Finland's rising talents took a break from KOVA as he had to focus on his studies. This left a spot open in their roster which the Finnish organization announced would be filled by the former hREDS player Spargo who is supposed to join their starting 5. Spargo had given an impressive performance with a 1.07 rating and 1.24 impact rating during his tenure at the hREDS. He had helped hREDS reach many grand finals in national leagues and cups. KOVA's general manager Timo Tarvainen said that Spargo was the only player they really considered had the required skillset to fill the spot Darkeps had left. He is also thankful to Christer Kasurinen and hREDS for amazing negotiations.
