Spirit took over GODSENT while Astralis collapse

Entropiq won their first Challenger Stage match on Dust2, defeating Astralis 16-6 and relegating the defending Major winners to the 0-2 pool. Following a tough loss against FaZe earlier in the day, Spirit defeated GODSENT 16-12 on Nuke to move up to the 1-1 pool. The Brazilians were the second team to lose 0-2 and will now face Astralis in the BO3 elimination matches for their tournament survival.

On the mainstream, Spirit delivered us a fantastic Nuke CT half. After winning the first pistol round, the CIS squad immediately gained the lead and kept the GODSENT economy in check by routinely denying bomb sites. On the yard, Nikolay "mir" Bityukov gave the Brazilians a hard time, but Epitacio "TACO" de Melo's creative calling allowed his team to win a couple of important rounds and cut the halftime lead to 5-10.
