Team Liquid defeats IHC at IEM Katowice

Nick “nitr0” Cannella’s side made a slow start on Inferno and held the victory in a 2-0 manner. In the IEM Katowice group stage, Liquid have gone through to the upper bracket Semi-Finals after they defeated IHC by 2-0. Team Liquid had a rough start on Inferno and they faced a deficit of 1-9. But, in the second half, they recovered very well and confirmed a victory before dominating to end the series.

Team Liquid had faced a lot of struggle at the BLAST Spring Groups, so this was a much needed win for them. At BLAST they went out in the last place. Before the match, Mareks “YEKINDAR” Galinskis mentioned that before the event, their team could not practice enough in Copenhagen and they were going to enter the tournament with a mindset that they will need to struggle to take over the match.
