Brazil's last representative has been eliminated from ESL Pro League. After defeating FURIA 2-1, outsiders advanced to the quarter-finals of ESL Pro League Season 16. The Russians lost Ancient 11-16, came back on Vertigo 16-10, and won Inferno, 16-6, while Evgeni "⁠FL1T⁠" Lebedev shone on the two last maps. On Vertigo and Inferno, FL1T averaged 1.43 and 1.72 rating, respectively, and finished with 1.43 and 1.72 on the last two maps.

FURIA started the second half on the offensive, constantly switching up their strategy by either spreading out across the map or prioritizing a single bomb site. Dzhami "⁠Jame⁠" Ali started the game off on the same foot as he switched up the offense frequently, playing spread out or concentrated on a single bomb site. The FURIA team fought back in the latter part of the half and eventually reduced their deficit to just one at the break.
