Virtus.pro and FORZE qualify for ESL Challenger Katowice 2023

After successfully competing in Group A, Virtus.pro was the first playoff team at ESL Challenger Katowice 2023. For a top-four finish at the $100,000 competition, the Russian team defeated Party Astronauts in a very close 16-13 victory before defeating ENCE in overtime. With wins over ECSTATIC and 9z, FORZE advanced through Group B and will now join Virtus.pro in the playoffs.

While there are still two open berths in the playoffs, the top seeds for both group winners will be placed on opposing sides of the bracket. Only two games remain in Group A, with the winner of the match between Bravado and Party Astronauts facing ENCE for a playoff position. And when 9z takes on the victor of ECSTATIC vs. paiN on Saturday, they will have one more chance to advance from Group B.
