Virtus.Pro takes the flashpoint 2 trophy home

Virtus.pro thrashed OG in the 2-1 grand finale of Flashpoint 2, their run throughout the tournament was impressive reporting just one loss to a European squad in the group stage. OG on the other hand was on a dream run coming from the lower bracket to compete with an in-form Virtus.pro. Aleksi "⁠Aleksib⁠" Virolainen-led side was denied a chance to win another big international tournament in two months, earlier they lost to FaZe in IEM New York.

OG was strong on Mirage, which was their pick, and opened the score with 16-10. Jame's squad though were determined to win and were dominant on Train as well. Mareks "⁠YEKINDAR⁠" Gaļinskis and Alexey "⁠qikert⁠" Golubev both played skillfully and moved towards the decider map Inferno confidently and Nathan "⁠NBK-⁠" Schmitt and co did put in their best but could not overthrow the CIS side.
