Vitality has revealed Emil "Magisk" Reif's resignation from their Counter-Strike team. The 25-year-old is apparently on the verge of joining Falcons, where he will reunite with head coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen.
Magisk quits Vitality after less than two years with the team, having joined in January 2022 alongside Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and zonic. He was instrumental in Vitality's rise to the top of the standings in 2023, winning a number of major events, notably the BLAST Paris Major. William "mezii" Merriman, who officially departed fnatic on November 2, will replace his vacancy. The British player will make his Vitality debut later this month at the BLAST Premier Fall Final. It is unknown when Magisk will make his debut appearance with the Falcons. Zonic and Lars Robl, Falcons' Head of Performance, are actively rebuilding the roster, with recent reports indicating that the club has agreed to sign G2's Nikola "NiKo" Kovač .
