Vitality captures the first grand final spot defeating OG

OG was unable to extend their great run in the ESL Pro League, dropping 2-0 against Vitality, who displayed excellent consistency across the board to secure their first grand final position since late 2020. It will be reassuring for Vitality that they did not have to rely on star player Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut to carry them to victory, with each of the five Frenchmen securing crucial frags and clutches at different moments throughout the series.

Vitality opened up their T side with a pistol and second-round win, jumping out to a 14-8 lead before OG regained their stride in the half. As has been the case throughout the competition, Shahar "flameZ" Shushan was once again the pillar around which OG attempted to rally, but it wasn't enough for the European roster, as Vitality won 16-12.
