After just six months of the international lineup, Vitality is ready to move on and make roster changes after the team’s performance stayed disappointing in the first half of the year. Vitality’s Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier would be axed first as the French organization plans to replace him with ENCE's Israeli superstar Lotan "Spinx" Giladi. Vitality brought in Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Emil "Magisk" Reif, and Danny "zonic" Sørensen in the hopes to make headlines at the international events, but they have struggled to even make an impact.
They kicked off the year with a good show at BLAST Premier Spring Groups later their performance dwindled visibly at IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 15, PGL Major Antwerp, and IEM Dallas. They faced multiple eliminations from the group stage except for the runner-up miracle run at the BLAST Premier Spring Final. Misutaaa in particular has experienced a drop in ratings as well from 1.01 in 2021 to 0.93 in 2022 and thus seems to be the first one out the door.
