After defeating Aurora 2-1 in the RES Eastern European Masters Spring, Monte advanced to the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown by defeating Viktor "Lack1" Boldyrev's team on Mirage (13-10) and Ancient (13-9) after losing on Nuke (6-13).
They are the 16th and last team with a majority of Ukrainian players to be selected for the online event, which takes place from March 6–10. The teams will play a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket to determine which two teams advance to the BLAST Premier Spring Final. Before defeating Aurora to advance to the playoffs, Monte survived a close call against The Chosen Few in their opening game, living up to their status as the favorites going into the eight-team Eastern Europe qualifying. Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev's outstanding performance of a 1.47 rating helped Monte defeat SINNERS in the semifinals. Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk then delivered a strong performance in his team's qualification match against Aurora to guarantee their spot in the Showdown.
