Reaching the goal of playing in the World Cup, Saad Al Sheeb will likely be strong part of Qatar' squad in the upcoming tournament. Only conceded a lone goal throughout that 2019 AFC tournament, Al Sheeb has earned a spot with the Al Annabi squad. He was a part of the 23-man Qatar squad that was crowned champions of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. With Al-Sheeb starting in all of Qatar's seven matches, the team conceded only a single goal, resulting in him winning the 'Best Goalkeeper Award'. The 32-year-old often joined the team from the bench as he sought to expand his goal sheet.
