A reliable goalkeeper for Qatar's National team

Reaching the goal of playing in the World Cup, Saad Al Sheeb will likely be strong part of Qatar' squad in the upcoming tournament. Only conceded a lone goal throughout that 2019 AFC tournament, Al Sheeb has earned a spot with the Al Annabi squad. He was a part of the 23-man Qatar squad that was crowned champions of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. With Al-Sheeb starting in all of Qatar's seven matches, the team conceded only a single goal, resulting in him winning the 'Best Goalkeeper Award'. The 32-year-old often joined the team from the bench as he sought to expand his goal sheet. Facing a tough Group A, Al Sheeb will undoubtedly be the hand the country needs in its first World Cup campaign.
