AC Milan won at Silvio Berlusconi’s Monza 1-0

Milan won the derby with the lone goal scored by Junior Messias, giving them their third straight victory. After a disastrous start to the year, the Rossoneri seem to have made a turn for the better. The Nerazzurri's 3-1 victory over Udinese propelled them into third position, three points behind Inter Milan in second. The final unbeaten Serie A team of the year was defeated by Monza, who suffered its first league loss since 2023.

It was a significant game since, before selling Milan in 2017, Berlusconi and Monza CEO Adriano Galliani were responsible for 29 trophies won during the course of 31 years at the club. The next year, he acquired Monza and led the team from the third division to its inaugural season in Serie A.
