The problems don't cease for Reece James, the player has already missed eight matches after he suffered a hamstring injury in training. The Englishman has been fined £90,000 by the FA and will also be suspended for one match for using 'improper, abusive and insulting' words' and behaviour.
FA statement read: "Reece James has been given a one-game suspension and £90,000 fine for breaching FA Rule E3 at Chelsea's Premier League match against Aston Villa on Sunday 24 September.
The events occurred in Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa last month when James, who was out through injury, insulted the referees in the tunnel. The right-back will miss Chelsea's trip to Burnley this weekend, a game he would also have missed due to the physical problems he has been carrying since picking up an injury in August.
