AC Milan will let go of the pair of Andrea Conti and Samu Castillejo in the January transfer window. The Rossoneri’s winter transfer window would be quite eventful as the defender could even leave for free. We are well into the second international break and both the players have not been handed their season debut.
Rossoneri acquired 27-year-old Conti in 2017 from Atalanta in a €24m deal, but even before he could kick off his season with Milan a knee injury kept him out, last season he served his loan spell with Parma who was relegated, and hence Conti was back to AC Milan’s lineup. His contract is set to expire in June next year. Meanwhile, Castillejo has run out of favors and Milan is expecting €6m for him.
