Felix Sanchez: Qatar has more to offer in next match

Qatar's coach said that defensive errors, problems in transition, and not starting the match well are the main factors behind his side's 2-0 loss to Ecuador in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar opening match.

Sanchez said that the national team was suffering from a lot of issues and it was difficult to return to the match, adding that the performance improved in the second half but the result didn't change.

Qatar can play better in its next match by correcting the mistakes in training and reaching the next match in the best way, Sanchez pointed out.

The coach denied that the adjustment of the formation and the style of play had affected the players, adding that the work done by the national team in the last period was sufficient to appear good, but the players were not at the level expected of them.
