Lazio tops the Serie A standings, dropping Milan to fourth.

While Lautaro Martinez struck the back of the net for the visitors, who dropped their first points of the season, Felipe Anderson, Luis Alberto, and Pedro scored in the 3-1 home victory. Lazio didn't take long to establish themselves in the match and nearly took the lead right away, but Ciro Immobile's first-time shot missed the right post. In the 37th minute, the Lazio captain had another chance, but Samir Handanovic blocked his shot.

In the 40th minute, Felipe Anderson gave the hosts their first goal, heading in after being excellently set up in the box by a cross from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. As the clock ticked down, the substitute Luis Alberto took matters into his own hands and unleashed a beautiful long-range goal in the 75th minute to give his team the lead. The Spanish international Pedro then added another goal in the 86th to finish the score.
