Liverpool hosted Manchester City, in a big game on the Premier League calendar. The teams at the top of the league table drew 1-1 at Anfield stadium, which welcomed both teams with a great atmosphere. A goal from John Stones, in the first half, and another from MacAllister, in the second, changed the score.
The Reds played with a somewhat patchy team in defense. Kelleher started in goal, replacing the absence of Alisson, who was injured, while the defensive quartet was made up of Bradley, Quansah, Van Dijk and Gomez, in an atypical way.
Until the end, there was a ball hitting the bar of Liverpool's goal, in a ridiculous move involving Kelleher and Foden. There were also complaints of penalties for both sides, during added time. What is certain is that both teams drew, keeping the Premier squad practically unchanged.
