Liverpool have targeted ‘next Sadio Mane’ which could set them back by £83m

Liverpool’s attacking side could be even more scintillating next season as they plan to add Rennes prodigy Jeremy Doku who has been a long term target for the Reds. Doku would cost around £83million which would drive Liverpool’s wage bill higher but his impressive performances might be worth it.

The 19-year-old winger played for Belgium against Italy at Euro 2020 and the Antwerp-born star gave Italy’s defense a hard time at Munich which drove top European clubs in line to get his signature. Rennes though is not considering a permanent move but the wonderkid would have a chance to play for one of Europe's giants. At Anfield, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah would be out of contract by 2023 leaving a giant hole in the attacking squad, which is exactly where Doku comes in.
