Olympiacos have completed the signing of Pablo Maffeo, with the Spanish‑Argentine full‑back departing Mallorca after 160 appearances and becoming the latest major exit following the club’s relegation. His departure had long been anticipated; a year ago Maffeo openly admitted his cycle on the island was over, a statement that strained relations with supporters and shaped the tone of his final season. Having first arrived on loan in 2021 before making the move permanent, he contributed five goals and fourteen assists during his spell.
