Phil Foden commits future to City until 2030

Phil Foden has signed a new four‑year contract with Manchester City, securing his future at the Etihad Stadium until 2030. A lifelong supporter who joined the academy at nine, the 26‑year‑old has become one of the club’s defining figures since debuting under Pep Guardiola in 2017. His trophy haul already includes 20 major honours, highlighted by six Premier League titles and a Champions League triumph.

Foden described the extension as deeply meaningful, stressing that playing for City “means everything” to him. He also welcomed the return of Enzo Maresca, praising the manager’s influence during the Treble season and expressing excitement about working together again.

Director of Football Hugo Viana hailed Foden as a unique talent whose creativity continues to elevate City’s play. With more than 100 Premier League goal contributions and 100 goals for the club, Foden now looks set to remain a central figure in City’s long‑term project.
