Real Madrid and Vinicius Jr extend partnership through 2032

Real Madrid have officially announced Vinicius Jr’s contract extension, confirming that the Brazilian forward will remain at the club until 2032. The renewal arrives on a landmark day for the Spanish giants, who also unveiled the signing of Yann Diomande from Leipzig for around €140 million. Despite interest from Arsenal, Vinicius chose to continue his journey in Madrid, offering José Mourinho another major boost ahead of the new season. In their statement, the club highlighted Vinicius’ impact since joining in 2018 at age eighteen: 375 appearances, 128 goals and fourteen trophies, including two Champions Leagues and three Club World Cups.

Real Madrid also celebrated his decisive goals in the last two Champions League finals and listed his numerous individual honours, such as the 2024 FIFA Best Player award. The club described him as a central figure in one of the most successful eras in its history, reinforcing his status as a modern Real Madrid icon.
