Rebic: 'I hope to score more goals'

Rebic has signed a permanent contract with the Rossoneri until June 2025, having impressed on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt last season.

“I’m very happy to have signed for Milan,” Rebic told Milan TV. “I’m happy I was able to prove I have the quality to play here. When I first arrived last season, I said I wasn’t a striker, that I help the team in other ways. Then I scored 12 goals, I hope I can score more this season. Rebic will wear No12 at Milan next season, a number he wanted already last season. There’s no real reason, I had wanted to take it last season,” .

The Croatia international excelled when Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to San Siro in January and Rebic said ‘there’s no need’ for other leaders when the Swede is on the pitch.
