Roma have made Mason Greenwood their top summer target, with Italian reports indicating a formal offer is imminent once new sporting director Tony D’Amico takes charge. The Olympique Marseille winger is one of the most in‑demand names of June, and Roma are preparing a proposal worth around €35 million plus bonuses, potentially rising to €40 million.
Marseille, however, are holding firm. According to press, the French club want at least €50 million plus €5 million in add‑ons, a stance strengthened by Greenwood’s excellent season and a 40 percent sell‑on clause owed to Manchester United.
Fenerbahçe have also shown interest, but Greenwood is reportedly leaning toward Roma, attracted by guaranteed Champions League football and Gian Piero Gasperini’s project. The coach views him as a central piece of a new attacking structure alongside Malen and Dybala.
Roma’s interest is concrete, but they must significantly raise their bid to convince Marseille to sell.
