China’s podium finish in men's 3m synchro

China is back to winning podiums in diving as they shrug off the shocking defeat of CAO Yuan and CHEN Aisen. China’s WANG Zongyuan and XIE Siyi, made a comeback after their poor fifth dive, they still maintained a lead over USA with 13 points before heading into the five dive of the event. Just one round is left and Team GB’s Dan Goodfellow and Jack Laugher occupy the last spot. In the last round, USA’s Andrew Capobianco and Mike Hixon’s 4.5 somersaults in the tuck position earned them a score of 88.92 thus totaling 444.36.

After a brilliant dive by Wang and Xie they score 99.18 points taking their total to 467.82 and gold for China. While USA got the silver, Germany’s Patrick Hausding and Lars Rudiger’s last dive moved them above Mexico as they win the Bronze.
