Britain kick-started Day 3 with gold in Swimming when Adam Peaty became the first British swimmer to defend an Olympic title in the 100m breaststroke competition. Now Thomas Daley and Matty Lee add another stunning win to the day’s event after they surprised Chinese favorites Cao Yuan and Chen Aisen with a beautiful final dive that secured the title. Team GB then won the gold in men's synchronized 10-metre platform at Tokyo 2020. 

Britain’s Daley achieved his long-awaited dream to win gold after having won two bronze medals earlier in the past. This was his fourth appearance in the Olympics and with an effortless final dive, the duo earned 101.01 points, pulling off the forward four-and-a-half somersaults in the tuck position faultlessly.
