Brooklyn Nets cruised past the Memphis Grizzlies 111-86

Kevin Ollie won his first NBA coaching victory on Monday night as the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 111-86 behind 18 points from Dennis Schroder and 13 points and nine rebounds from Dorian Finney-Smith. With 7:23 left in the game, Cam Thomas had already scored 14 points when he left due to a right ankle injury. For the Nets, Lonnie Walker IV added 13. For the Grizzlies, Lamar Stevens scored 17 points on 8 of 9 shots, and Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 15 points on 2 of 12 shots from the field. Memphis shot 38.7% overall in its lowest-scoring game of the season, and GG Jackson had an even worse night, missing just one of his 13 attempts. This season, Brooklyn has allowed the fewest points.

After losing his first two games, Ollie was named Brooklyn's interim coach during the All-Star break, taking Jacque Vaughn's place.
