Cavaliers defeat Bucks thanks to Evan Mobley's clutch free throws

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the visiting Milwaukee Bucks 118-113 in their home opener on Sunday night, with Evan Mobley recording 23 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, and Donovan Mitchell scoring 10 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. After Cleveland took an 81-63 lead in the third quarter, Mobley went 12-for-12 at the foul line, including six in the last 16 seconds to help the team hang on. After losing to the New York Knicks in the season opener, it was the Cavaliers' second consecutive victory.

With game highs of 40 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists, Milwaukee star Giannis Antetokounmpo came within one assist of recording his 57th triple-double. Ryan Rollins contributed 14 points and eight assists, while AJ Green finished with 20 points. De'Andre Hunter scored 16 points in his Cavaliers season debut, while Sam Merrill contributed 17.
