The Oklahoma City Thunder will kick off the new season on the 19th of October and face Minnesota Timberwolves on the other side. This would be the first game of the sensational new rookie that impressed many in the Summer League, Chet Holmgren. The second overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft would be part of the lineup of the Thunder and would be starting his career at home in Minnesota
The Minnehaha Academy product hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has played so far with Orlando Magic Guard. Now the 7’1 center would be seen in action with NBA’s greatest players, Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert. Towns is well known for his shooting abilities averaging 24 points per game on 41 percent shooting from deep while three-time All-Star and three-time defensive player of the year, Gobert would be the guiding light for Holmgren.
