Embiid’s splendid performance helps Sixers to an overtime win

Facing a depleted Charlotte Hornets who were without five of their key players due to the health and safety protocols. And Philadelphia 76ers, on the other hand, were coming in well-rested, without Tyrese Maxeym it seemed like an easy win for Sixers but as it turns out it wasn't. Sixers lacked energy on the court and were easily overcome by Hornets. Kelly Oubre Jr. scored a team-high 35 points with six three-pointers.

But Sixers secret weapon fired late in the match but went a long way to see them to a win, Joel Embiid scored a game-high 43 points on a sparkling 15-of-20 shooting line from the field, along with that he also had 15 rebounds and 7 assists against 3 turnovers for the night. Embiid led their resurgence against Hornets and the team won with 127-124 in overtime.
