The Cleveland Cavaliers ended a three-game losing drought with a 108-104 triumph against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday evening, bringing much-needed cheer to Northeast Ohio sports fans. With a hard-fought victory over the Pacers after tying in the first quarter, the Cavs and Pacers battled it out for the rest of the game. Throughout the game, the score was tied 15 times, with 16 lead changes.
Kevin Love scored 20 points and Rookie Evan Mobley had 24 points and nine rebounds. Cleveland trailed 84-73 in the third quarter before going on a 17-0 run to grab the lead for good. While the Cavs were victorious on Sunday night, they also lost another player to injury. Already without guards Collin Sexton and Ricky Rubio due to season-ending knee injuries, the Cavs lost Isaac Okoro to a left elbow injury in the first half of the game.
