Grosjean would be testing Hamilton’s Mercedes

Romain Grosjean retired from F1 after his accident at Bahrain Grand Prix last year and is now going to test Mercedes next month in a special test. Frenchman was promised a chance to drive Mercedes by Toto Wolff to boost his morale that the accident was not the end of his F1 career. Romain would now take Lewis Hamilton’s 2019 title-winning Mercedes for a spin before the French Grand Prix on June 27th for a series of demonstration laps.

He would also drive the Mercedes for a full day at Circuit Paul Ricard, on June 29th. Romain is excited to come back to F1 even if it is for a short while, he is currently competing in Indycar series for Dale Coyne Racing. Circuit Paul Ricard is also the home track for Romain and the opportunity to drive Mercedes would be exhilarating.
