The focus shifted to the center after the Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers 105-102 in Game 4 to finish the sweep. Former Celtic Cedric Maxwell presented Jaylen Brown with the Larry Bird Eastern Conference Finals MVP award after presenting the Bob Cousy trophy to Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck and the squad.
Throughout the series, Brown averaged five rebounds and 29.8 points on 52% shooting from the field per game. Brown scored 29 points on 11 of 22 shots (4 of 8 from three) in Game 4, along with six rebounds and three steals. Throughout the fourth quarter, Brown produced a number of great plays, such as two three-pointers to keep Boston in the game and the game-winning assist to Derrick White. When the Celtics most needed him, Brown performed admirably on both sides of the court.
