The Knicks have handed Jericho Sims a standard NBA deal which means Taj Gibson remains out of the picture. Gibson will not be seen again with the Knicks after they waived him off. The 37-year-old will now sign a deal with the Washington Wizards after all his waivers are sorted. It is known that the Knicks wanted to have Gibson back on a veteran minimum contract but the Wizards were offering him a bigger position that he wouldn't want to deny!
Last season, Gibson managed an average of 4.4 rebounds and 4.4 points in 52 games he played for the New York Knicks. Also, Mitchell Robinson has agreed to make his comeback with a four-year contract for an amount of $60 million.
