Los Angeles Lakers are still active this offseason as they search for a third rotational center. While Christian Wood and Bismack Biyombo top the list for the role but Lakers have not been able to get much traction for the two. It is time they considered a new player for the role- Blake Griffin. A decorated All-Star who has drafted by Los Angeles Clippers in 2009, he went on play seven seasons for the team before being traded to Detroit Pistons. In 2021 thereafter he was once again signed by Brooklyn Nets after being waived by Pistons. In the last two seasons, he has played in the Nets in 2021-22 and Boston Celtics in 2022-23 posting an average of 4.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 48/34/65 splits with Boston.
As per an NBA Exec, Griffin could fit in well with the Lakers adding more depth to the roster. He may be a strong contender for at least a training camp invitation.
