Los Angeles Lakers lost 93-103 against the Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis tied the Western Conference rivals' first-round playoff series with one game each.

Hachimura came through huge again at FedExForum in Memphis with an effective 7-for-12 effort from the field, including shooting 2-for-4 from beyond the arc, after a 29-point explosion in the teams' first postseason encounter. Since Magic Johnson in 1996, Hachimura became the first Laker to score 20 points in back-to-back postseason games.

The 25-year-old played 32 minutes and added five rebounds, two assists, a steal, and zero turnovers. With All-Star point guard Ja Morant sidelined due to an injured right hand, the Grizzlies received contributions from every player on the roster. The NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Jaren Jackson Jr., scored 18 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks, but centre Xavier Tillman stood out with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
