New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Phoenix Suns 126-124

Herb Jones finished his first game back from a shoulder injury by blocking Devin Booker's last-second shot, Brandon Ingram scored 29 points in his comeback from a five-game absence, and the New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Phoenix Suns 126-124 on Thursday night to end a nine-game losing streak.

With three seconds remaining, CJ McCollum, who had scored twenty-five points, missed a free throw, giving the Suns a last-second chance to win or tie. Jones, who hadn't played in 18 games, swatted the ball away from Booker, who had 28 points, as he raised for a shot after he got an inbound pass at the 3-point line. With 2:02 remaining, Jones had one of these four steals, and 13 seconds later, he made a left corner three to put New Orleans ahead 121-117. He scored 12 points in the end.
