Knicks finally settle on a coach for their team as Leon Rose called off the extensive search by finally accepting Tom Thibodeau for the role. Thibodeau seems confident about the role and has a great understanding of the team, and has high hopes for it. Recounting his experience with the knicks in the 1990s he shares it was the best experience he could hope for. Now filling the shoes of Derek Fisher to David Fizdale, he will take on the role of head coach. Knicks have not won a season since 2012-2013 it also marks as the last time they qualified for the playoffs. Thibodeau has his work cut out for him in the five-year obligation. Thibodeau lead Chicago Bulls to playoffs in each of the five seasons he spent with the team. He also led Minnesota Timberwolves to playoffs after a 13year break, he is particularly excited to work with a young roster which includes RJ Barrett, Mitchell Robinson, and Kevin Knox.
