Pacers guard, Chris Duarte hit a game-tying 3-pointer against the Los Angeles Lakers with 6.5 seconds left on the clock to push the game into overtime mode. The match was ultimately won by Lakers with 124-116 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. NBA now revealed that Lakers guard Avery Bradley committed a shooting foul on Duarte's clutch 3, thus Indiana would not have been awarded the free throw that tied the match ultimately.
While Pacers had the chance to push for the win in extra time but LeBron James' dominance made it physically impossible. The four-time league MVP, scored 8 of his season-high 39 points in the overtime period. Duarte tallied 17 points and three 3-pointers in the end.
