On Wednesday night, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Washington Wizards 139-130, paced by a career-high 50 points from Victor Wembanyama.

San Antonio won its second consecutive game, and Wembanyama set a career record by shooting 8 for 16 from 3-point range. With 42 points from Jordan Poole, Washington suffered its sixth consecutive defeat. Wembanyama, who is 20 years and 314 days old, is the fourth-youngest player to reach 50 points, after Devin Booker (20/145), LeBron James (20/80), and Brandon Jennings (20/52).
