Spurs crush Kings in dominant preseason finale

The San Antonio Spurs wrapped up their preseason in emphatic fashion, overwhelming the Sacramento Kings 126–97 with a performance that showcased their offensive firepower and defensive intensity.

San Antonio seized control immediately, combining perimeter accuracy with physical dominance. Six first-quarter three-pointers helped establish a commanding 42–18 lead, before the Spurs extended their advantage to 34 points at halftime.

Victor Wembanyama finished with 14 points, eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks in just 17 minutes. De’Aaron Fox contributed 16 points against his former team, while Dylan Harper led all scorers with 19 points, including three successful shots from beyond the arc.

Sacramento received 20 points from Zach LaVine, but its comeback hopes quickly faded. The Spurs dominated the boards 61–38, collecting 19 offensive rebounds.

San Antonio secured consecutive preseason victories, while the Kings finished winless in five games. The Spurs now turn their attention to Tuesday’s highly anticipated season opener against the reigning champions, Oklahoma City Thunder.
