The Knicks grind out a tenacious Grizzlies team

Julius Randle led the way once again for the Knicks, finishing with a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Miles McBride recorded a career-high 19 points while stepping in for the injured Jalen Brunson, shooting an astounding 7-10 from the floor, including 4-7 from beyond the arc. OG Anunoby had 18 points in the night.

With key players banned or injured, the Grizzlies faced huge hurdles. In various capacities, Ja Morant, Marcus Smart, Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, Derrick Rose, Desmond Bane, and Jaren Jackson Jr. were all missing. Regardless, the Grizzlies battled valiantly. GG Jackson added 20 points off the bench, while Vince Williams Jr added 17. Memphis also saw good efforts of 14 points from Luke Kennard and David Toddy. The Grizzlies forced the Knicks to commit 23 turnovers while only committing 12 themselves. In the end, Knicks powered through winning by 106-94.
