Timberwolves overpowers Pelicans in preseason

The win may have been measly by three points, but Wolves dominated the match right from the start. Timberwolves took down Pelicans by 117-114 with their defense working as a flawless machine with the likes of D’Angelo Russell and Josh Okogie. The pair of Karl-Anthony Towns and Jaden McDaniels gave a big push in the paint and we should see such performance by Wolves if they hope to be a playoff team this season.

What remains to be seen is the rotation they would deploy throughout the season and how much it would really contribute throughout the season. The addition of Beverley, Bolmaro, and Taurean Prince this season adds more depth to the roster and with a strong opening this season, Wolves might have a lot to offer this season.
