Utah Jazz downed the Dallas Mavericks 127-90

The Utah Jazz defeated the Dallas Mavericks 127-90, led by a triple-double by Jordan Clarkson, their first in sixteen years. Breaking the 5,801-day drought, Clarkson scored 20 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, and distributed 11 assists. Leading the Mavericks with 19 points and 14 assists was Luka Doncic. 12 of the Jazz's first 14 points came from Simone Fontecchio, who launched the offence. To start the game, the Jazz went 5-10 from three, with Fontecchio going 3-4.

The Jazz had a spark thanks to Jordan Clarkson, who finished the quarter with six points and four assists off the bench as they ran to a 21-9 lead. The Jazz lead Dallas 37–26 after one. The Jazz missed their next five shots from long range after starting the game with a 5-10 shot. The Mavericks suffered as well, missing three of their first ten opportunities.
