100T will still play in the region for 2025.

In a significant shift for North American League of Legends, 100 Thieves has stepped back from its franchise slot in the League of Legends Championship of The Americas (LTA). The organization has sold its slot back to Riot Games, disappointing fans who have followed the team’s journey since its rise to prominence in North American esports. Although 100 Thieves will compete in the 2025 LTA season, it will do so under a provisional status, ineligible for postseason promotion, marking an endpoint in its League legacy.

Meanwhile, Disguised, a team founded by streamer Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, will join the LTA as a guest team, bringing excitement to fans. After success in the North American Challengers League, Disguised is set to make waves in the 2025 season. This restructured league merges teams from former LCS, CBLOL, and LLA leagues into two conferences, with the season kicking off on January 25.
