Following FlyQuest’s disappointing loss to Anyone’s Legend at MSI 2025, jungler Inspired voiced frustrations over the challenges of improving while playing in North America. Speaking to Sheep Esports, Inspired said, “It’s really tough because you’re either not getting punished for your decisions, or you’re winning teamfights simply because the enemies can’t control their champions as well as Asian teams.”
He emphasized that limited competition in NA hinders skill growth. While Western teams have tried scrimming in Asia to adapt to the higher level of play, issues like jetlag and Riot’s strict roster rules have made it difficult. Inspired noted that Asian teams’ mechanical control is far superior, making it harder for Western players to catch up. With little exposure to Eastern teams outside of international events, improvement remains stagnant, further widening the gap between regions on the global League of Legends stage.
